Tse’ewultun Health Centre manages public health and communicable disease control for Cowichan Tribes. Birth registration. Healthy Families Program: immunization; health and disease information; helping with your doctor; Well Baby Clinic; dental health information; pre-kindergarten screening; school visits; hospital visits and liaison; home visits; prenatal education; breast feeding support; nutrition counselling; women’s health; birth control and pregnancy testing; sexual health information (testing and treatment); Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Support Group; community service referrals; environmental health referrals. Child and Youth Program: Infant development (0-5 years); Child’s Work/ Play/Milestones; home visits; safety awareness and prevention; parenting support; developmental assessments; Mother’s Morning Out; Parent Tot Activity Group; Treasure Box Reading; New Parents Group; referrals to other resources. Dental Health Centre: Education and prevention; basic dental treatment; school outreach; pre- and post-natal dental care; Councelling support to community members during difficult times. Healing in Relationships: Drop-in support circle for women. Transportation, childcare and snacks. Once Were Warriors: Men’s Support Group; referrals to other professionals.
