Cowichan Young Carers Program

The Young Carers Program provides support to youth in a caregiving role to a family member We provide mental health support by offering one-on-one support, support groups, counselling, and connection to community resources. We also provide advocacy, education, and information. Our First Nations Youth Facilitator works with young carers in the Cowichan Tribes. We also run wellness workshops and activities focusing on youth leadership and empowerment.more info

Dyslexia Awareness, Teaching Methods and Accommodations

We work with Dyslexic children and adults and also screen for Irlen Syndrome. Karey and Howie assess, tutor, create teaching programs for students and adjustment plans for adults.
